There is room to stand a minifigure up here alongside a new printed console piece. After building 7 of the June 1st sets now (thanks to Smyths sticking them on the shelves early), I can honestly say I've really enjoyed myself, I love each and every set ive built. Maybe they could've given us a dwarf spider droid? We are essentially missing almost all of the connector pieces (2x cross axle 4 modules, 2x axle pegs, 4x technic lever 2 modules, 6x connector pegs). However, the level of detail which covers the exterior accounts for the price to some extent and it looks fantastic, if you can ignore the scale. ; 590 people have joined this week. This is really cool except the book says it has all the pieces you need but ours was missing 2 pieces that are specialty ones so we couldn't even replace them from his regular Lego stash. We are now just hours away from the new sets becoming available worldwide and as such we are going to review three of the most anticipated sets of the entire range over the next three days. It measures only a little over 30cm in length so its size has been reduced by a third in relation to 8098 Clone Turbo Tank, the previous version of the A6 Juggernaut which was released in 2010. Can't wait to get this set.Luckily I have the Kashyyyk trooper battle pack and a bunch of battle droids so I'm pretty much set :). I have always wanted to own the Clone Turbo Tank ever since it came out back in 2005, so I'm glad that they continue to release it. You can still see all customer reviews for the product. Definitley to small. This is a good set on the whole, with plenty of detail on the exterior and lots of fun play features, but I cannot ignore the small size of the model and this reduces its appeal quite significantly in my opinion. I think you could punch them out and laminate some of them to make them last longer but the LEGO pieces will have dispersed by then anyways. 6 out of 6 people thought this review was helpful. ; 9542 members have logged in in the last 24 hours, 19567 in the last 7 days, 32116 in the last month. The printing on Luminara's torso and legs is also very faithful to her attire in the movie and I like the metallic gold highlights very much. He has thanked me a bunch for getting him this and has became enthralled with inventing! This is a fabulous product! A jumble of Technic liftarms dominate this area and these provide plenty of stability but spoil the troop bay completely, leaving very little space for minifigures and severely detracting from its aesthetic appeal. Sadly TLG decided to scale it down and leave everyone feeling a bit let down. Huge letdown, tears included as it was a highly anticipated gift. Do NOT recomend. It just doesn't look completely how it should. This set includes 4 minifigures: Batman (rebirth suit mk2), Robin (Damien Wayne), The Joker and Harley Quinn. Keep an eye on the homepage tomorrow for a review of a highly anticipated Technic set! Few changes have been made since 2005 but that is not an issue as it works perfectly and is a fantastic play feature, allowing you to steer the vehicle by adjusting the angle of the hull and traverse obstacles with ease! Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Klutz Lego Gadgets Science & Activity Kit, Ages 8+ at Amazon.com. I would buy it as a gift again. If I get this it will be heavily modified. I think this set is good, and I can't wait to get it! when this set was announced I expected an £80 price tag but as others have said SW sets are getting smaller, pricier and (not just because of these) they don't have the WOW factor for me at the moment. Fortunately it's not TRU exclusive so we should have beneficial competition (already 110€ at TRU Germany, hope Amazon will align) and hopefully price will drop in the next 6 months (cf 75105 going from 160€ to 120€ now). The minifigs choice is OK for me, my son doesn't have 75043 and Commander Gree is nice to have, as well as the 2 Jedis which are not easily found in other sets. This is rather disappointing given the extent to which a Turbo Tank is reliant on its size when thundering across a battlefield and I do think it looks quite small when considering the price point. I’m returning and will not be purchasing another. 75035 Kashyyyk Troopers is no longer available from the majority of stores but one of those would make an excellent addition to this set. Previous versions have been very impressive and I therefore have high expectations for this one, so let's see if they are met... Only six minifigures are included, two of which are Battle Droids, which is a little disappointing given the price point of the set. Please make sure that you are posting in the form of a question. I like the olive green colour scheme very much and the proportions are also about right. The camouflage printing on the torso and legs looks absolutely brilliant, as does the bright green visor and dark green stripe on the helmet. That would've made this set worth the price. The same element appears in both cockpits as well as several of the other new Star Wars sets and it looks great. But for $110? I don't have anything against small sets, but considering that the Clone Turbo Tank lives from it's size(Although you would never reach the size of an HAVw-6) while some "play features" like the lookout take away the illusion of being a smaller scale set, like many spaceships. But I digress.... Can't wait for that technic review! On the one hand it is a new and interesting feature, but on the other hand it is space which could have been used for extra seating for a mini figure. Site Statistics. There's so much less interior space than previous versions. This is filled with some more trans-blue studs for the shooters and a couple of printed thermal detonators. This is the third model of the Turbo Tank to be designed for interaction with minifigures and it has been six years since the last so I think we were due for a new one. Reviewed in the United States on December 16, 2018. The Joker's trike includes an opening mouth feature that opens and closes as you roll it, this works perfectly fine, although you cannot fit a minifigure inside the mouth so this is more for aesthetic than play value. @kazar14 - It is closer to the A5 Juggernaut in size but is definitely based on the A6. This feature did not appear on 8098 Clone Turbo Tank as that version was based on Star Wars: The Clone Wars, but it was included on 7261 Clone Turbo Tank from 2005. Two Battle Droids are included to oppose the Republic which is a rather puny challenge, although I appreciate the inclusion of some Separatist forces as this increases the play value. I am also very excited to see movie style versions of Luminara and Quinlan, and although I loved the Clone Wars variants, they look a bit dated now. Since I don't own any of the previous turbo tanks, and have never seen them built in person, I think this set shall satisfy my need for a lego version of this vehicle. I noticed all the summer wave SW sets were in stock at ToysRUs yesterday. I always enjoy your reviews. Interesting review, thank you Captain Rex!I fully agree that 130€ is too high, 99€ would have looked more fair IMHO considering the smaller size of the tank. On the other hand, I think this is the best looking Clone Turbo Tank to date, with a greater level of detail and accuracy to the source material than any of the previous models. You should be happy with that nice price!! And perhaps throw in a Wookiee or two. Although I like the Robin minifigure, we did get various versions of this same Robin just last year, I am wondering if we will ever see Tim Drake's Red Robin at any point in the future. I am particularly impressed with the turret on top as this can be rotated all the way around and has two stud shooters which do not detract from the appearance of the vehicle at all. Reviewed in the United States on November 2, 2018. He loves it. Man, the size of this set is such a letdown. After viewing product detail pages, look here to find an easy way to navigate back to pages you are interested in. 75151 Clone Turbo Tank is one of the largest Star Wars sets of the summer, containing 903 pieces and priced at £99.99 or $109.99. Instead, the pearl silver of the helmet is fully visible along with the detailed design on the back of the torso. Site Statistics. I think based on the three released Clone Turbo Tanks, the 2005 version is still the best because you got so much in it and it was larger. Reviewed in the United States on January 23, 2019. I was quite pleased with it and more when I saw him enjoying it. The Jedi robes worn by Quinlan Vos are unusual and this is reflected on this figure as a black pauldron is printed over a brown and dark tan tunic. The stud shooter on the front is mounted using a ball joint so has extensive articulation and is a lot of fun to play with, although it is not ideal for display. Just curious--is 75157 - Capt Rex's AT-TE part of the SW summer wave? The axles look rather spindly and are very exposed from certain angles but it may not be easy to improve this aspect of the design without losing the ability to steer the tank, so I am satisfied with the axles and wheels in their current state. ; Brickset members have written 36211 set reviews. It is also the most fun to play with as I really like the new extendable mast but all of the best features of the earlier sets have been maintained. The 2 battle droids are rather questionable, as they don't have a chance against a Juggernaut. LEGO set database: In set 76159-1 . LEGO set database: 76159-1: Joker's Trike Chase. My only issue with this figure is that the printing on the legs cuts off rather abruptly but otherwise it looks splendid. There are 16822 items in the Brickset database. The helmet design is a near-perfect replica of the source while the printing on the legs and torso is equally impressive, featuring some camouflage patterning and several pouches for storing battlefield equipment. The former is no longer a canon vehicle and is also a slightly different shape which is not reflected by this model. The Harley Quinn is new and is a great Harley to get if you have not owned one before, and the Robin is the same as 2019's but with the inclusion of mid-legs. The head is also impressive, with some stubble and differing expressions on each side. Two such weapons are included for the Battle Droids and the Clone Troopers are similarly equipped. We are now just hours away from the new sets becoming available worldwide and as such we are going to review three of the most anticipated sets of the entire range over the next three days. As with the MTT, it's predecessor, 7662 MTT was practically perfect and only needed to be rereleased with some modern adjustments. I wish TLG could/would do a Quinlan Vos fig in his Legends costume when he went undercover working for Count Dooku (Vos was trying to find and eliminate the second Sith). Darn......I really want this but there is no way I can get my parents to buy this unless I get lucky and one of my grandparents gives me $150 dollars for birthday presents again.(Psst.
